چکیده

Breast carcinoma is one of the most common tumors in women. The immune microenvironment, especially T cell infiltration, related to occurrence and prognosis breast carcinoma. This study investigated gene expression patterns associated with tumor-infiltrating CD4+ CD8+ cells invasive carcinomas. data corresponding clinical phenotype from Cancer Genome Atlas Invasive Carcinoma (TCGA-BRCA) were downloaded. stromal score calculated using ESTIMATE. differentially expressed genes (DEGs) a high vs. low screened then functionally enriched. Cibersort algorithm, cell-related identified Spearman correlation test infiltrating abundance DEGs. Moreover, miRNA-mRNA pairs lncRNA-miRNA predicted construct competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNA) network. Kaplan-Meier (K-M) survival curves also plotted. In total, 478 DEGs 796 identified. addition, 39 78 identified; these, 14 significantly BRCA patients. for genes, chr22-38_28785274-29006793.1–miR-34a/c-5p–CAPN6 axis was ceRNA network, whereas chr22-38_28785274-29006793.1–miR-494-3p–SLC9A7 genes. might regulate cellular activities respectively, BRCA.

Exhaustion-associated regulatory regions in CD8+ tumor-infiltrating T cells.

T-cell exhaustion is a progressive loss of effector function and memory potential due to persistent antigen exposure, which occurs in chronic viral infections and cancer. Here we investigate the relation between gene expression and chromatin accessibility in CD8+ tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) that recognize a model tumor antigen and have features of both activation and functional exhaus...

Comparative Analysis of CD4+ and CD8+ T Cells in Tumor Tissues, Lymph Nodes and the Peripheral Blood from Patients with Breast Cancer

Background: CD4+ and CD8+ T cells are the main types of lymphocytes in cell-mediated immunity and play a central role in the induction of efficient immune responses against tumors. The frequencies of T cell subtypes in the peripheral blood and tumor tissues, and draining lymph nodes (dLN) can be considered as useful markers for evaluation of the immune system in cancers. Methods: In this study,...

The prognostic role of tumor-infiltrating CD4 and CD8 T lymphocytes in breast cancer.

BACKGROUND The aim of the study was to assess the prognostic role of CD4 and CD8 expression and the type, density, localization and distribution of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in patients with breast cancer. MATERIALS AND METHODS Tissue samples were obtained from 88 breast cancer patients with operable disease and ductal histology. Forty-three women had pathologically confirmed axil...

Stromal CD4+ and CD8+ T Cells in Human Breast Carcinomas. Its Correlation with Chemokine MIG/CXCL9

The interaction between some chemokines with tumoral and stromal cells can influence tumor progression. CXCL9, a monokine induced by interferon gamma (MIG), targets lymphocytes. The aim of our study was to identify and quantify CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in the stroma of human breast cancer and correlate them with the presence of MIG/CXCL9. In 58 specimens of human breast carcinoma and 10 normal bre...

Candida albicans Structural and Secreted Proteins Modulate CD4/CD8 Ratio in Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes of Spontaneous Adenocarcinoma Bearing Mice

Background: Candida albicans is one of the most important opportunistic pathogens that suppress immunologic mechanisms of the host. It is speculated that structural and secretory proteins of C. albicans have immunomodulatory effects in cancer. Objective: To evaluate the effects of C. albicans structural and secreted proteins on intratumoral CD4/CD8 ratio as well as the survival rate in BALB/c t...
